Imagine H2O Asia:
Water Innovation Demo Day 2025

The Design Desk designed a refreshed graphic and motion-focused key visuals for the region’s first accelerator dedicated exclusively to water tech startups.

  • This past July, Imagine H2O Asia convened over 350 global attendees—utility managers, policy makers, investors, and entrepreneurs—for Demo Day 2025, the flagship event spotlighting its latest accelerator cohort.

Each year, the programme spotlights breakthrough startups and their innovative technologies tackling urgent water and climate challenges.

Demo Day is a call to action that creates a stage where innovation meets implementation, enabling end-users and public agencies to engage directly with emerging solutions.

The Design Desk, led by Ian Sufian Hamdan, was commissioned to lead the creative direction and design implementations of Demo Day’s refreshed identity, spanning motion, digital, and environmental touchpoints.

Anchored by the modularity of the Imagine H2O Asia logo, the team’s approach reimagined the brand’s static mark as a fluid, living element by introducing a motion-led visual system inspired by liquidity and adaptability—qualities inherent in both water and innovation.

The identity was expressed through a full suite of deliverables, including event signage, digital communications, social media content, and motion films.

The Design Desk also partnered with Imagine H2O Asia in the production of its Water Innovation Pilot Fund feature film.

The result was a cohesive and contemporary system that gave Demo Day 2025 a strong, memorable presence—one that mirrors the urgency and momentum of the solutions it celebrates.
